Grumman Aluminum Boats Is It Worth Buying A New Engine For An Old Boat?

Is it worth buying a new engine for an old boat? - grumman aluminum boats

My father has an aluminum boat from the 1960s Grumman. 16 feet. There is still a high gloss on a grindstone. But it is good to put a new engine in it? Or only have a chance?
He also was noted for 25 horses. Can they, for example, between 30 and 40 horsepower motor on it? It has a steering wheel and engine control lever. The helmet is heavy, aluminum thickness, the ice is solid.

If you plan to keep the boat for so long, you could buy a new engine, but it was said that maybe to find a late model 2-clock. The reason is that they are lighter and produce more energy than a race 4th Also, I would not a bigger engine on board. Before the name HP 1990-1991 on the steering angle of the propeller, as he is today. Thus a new 25HP would be a 30hp then. I hope that helps.
